Beijing is not one of the destinations that attract the most attention in the world, but we assure you that finishing our trip through China by spending a few days in its capital was a success. Beijing gave us 7 days of sun and blue sky, (miracle!) And the truth is that we were pleasantly surprised. If you plan to visit it here we leave you 25 ideas of things to see and do in Beijing.

1. Eat a peking duck... if you don't do it it would be like going to Naples and not eating pizza!

17. Dare with the chinese cuisine, for us one of the most delicious and varied kitchens.

18. Savor a cockroach, a grasshopper and a starfish in the curious night market of Donghuamen (or just take pictures).

19. Beijing is one of the best places in the world to enjoy shows of Kung Fu... if the roll is cool, you know!

20. Take an excursion to see one of the sections of the Big Wall, one of the most amazing engineering works ever made by man (and no, it is not seen from the moon). We visited the Mutianyu section. If you prefer to go by minibus (which picks you up at the hotel) and have no problems with availability or problems with public buses, we recommend you book your seats here (the i / v only cost about € 30)

21. To find the most unique and vintage souvenirs visit the Panjiayuan Antique Market, where true treasures meet.

22. Watch a show of the Peking Opera, one of the greatest expressions of Chinese theater that synthesizes acting, music, poetry, martial arts and acrobatics. They are not usually cheap but they are a unique experience.

23. If you are a shopaholic, come to Xidan, one of the most popular commercial areas of Beijing ... and China!

24. Go up to the Drum Tower and to that of the Bell, In the heart of the city.
